Academic Facilitator

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team as a teacher at one of our all-boys public charter schools in Knoxville, Tennessee.

As a teacher at our school, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing instruction aligned to national and state content standards.

• Develop and implement highly effective lesson plans tailored to students' needs
• Communicate specific learning objectives to students and administer student assessments
• Capture student attention through active involvement and foster a motivating learning-centered culture

You will be part of a well-structured and managed classroom environment that promotes high academic achievement and excellence.

1. Plan and deliver instruction aligned to national and state content standards
2. Enact the curriculum using evidence-based instructional practices tailored to students' needs
3. Establish clear content and language objectives for all lessons
4. Foster a motivating, supportive, learning-centered culture of excellence

You will work with students who have varying levels of English proficiency and need a teacher who can effectively communicate and support their academic growth.

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Current ESL certification through the State of Tennessee
• Self-starter with a high level of personal integrity and professionalism
