Key Responsibilities

Noblis is looking for a Logistics Analyst to join our Fleet Introduction Support Logistics Team. This role involves collaborating within an integrated support team environment, working alongside government and Noblis MSD personnel to provide essential logistics support throughout the ship's life cycle while stationed at the PRECOM facility.

  • Assess and interpret Crew Move-Aboard Plans from previous hulls to aid in the development of customized Crew Move-Aboard Plans for current operations.
  • Support the Medical Department by overseeing the identification, receipt, inventory management, and distribution of all Authorized Medical and Dental Allowances.
  • Manage the allocation and distribution of government-issued industrial safety equipment and organizational gear to Pre-Commissioning Crew members.
  • Offer analytical and decision-making support to the Supply Department during the loading of supply consumables and equipment into Supply Storerooms, including tasks related to material receipt, inventory management, labeling, and distribution.
  • Assist the Supply Officer with inventory management during load-out processes to ensure a safe and organized transfer of materials, while also tracking material shortage lists.
  • Review and analyze Stock Number Sequence Lists (SNSLs), General Usage Consumable Lists (GUCL), Coordinated Shipboard Allowance Lists (COSAL), and Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) Loads, identifying and reporting issues and initiating corrective actions as necessary.
  • Engage in logistics support and supply documentation reviews to pinpoint discrepancies and implement corrective measures when needed.
  • Provide expert guidance to department heads and support staff during ship load-out by evaluating load plans and ensuring proper stowage of materials.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma with 6 years of experience, OR an Associate's degree with 3 years of experience, OR a Bachelor's degree, OR a Master's degree. The ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance is mandatory.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this collaborative, customer-focused role.
  • Physical capability to navigate on board US Navy Ships and lift weights up to 50 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Fleet Introduction Support, including administrative, personnel, travel, and security processes.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by several factors, including education, certifications, skills, experience, and geographic location. The projected salary range for this position is USD $41,000 to USD $65,005 annually.
