About the Role

The Oak View Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality food products to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook meats, soups, and sauces, and supervise the preparation of all food products to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with monthly inventory and maintain accurate records to ensure we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all food products meet our quality standards and that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and guests to ensure that all needs are met and that we provide exceptional service.
Requirements
  • Culinary Education or Experience: Professional training through a culinary education or working in a fast-paced fine dining restaurant or catering facility is required. Previous experience working in a supervisory capacity in a kitchen is also required.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise kitchen staff and lead by example to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and guests to ensure that all needs are met and that we provide exceptional service.
  • Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.
