Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Clinical Operations
- Direct clinical staff to improve operational efficiencies and service delivery.
- Create and communicate clinical staffing schedules and ensure staff are present and working.
- Ensure regulations are followed, updated, and proper training is completed for staff members on a continual basis.
- Obtain and maintain Quad-A accreditation.
- Surgical and Anesthesia Management
- Manage surgical and anesthesia schedules.
- Manage on-call rotation schedules.
- Patient Services and Support
- Coordinate and facilitate the effective delivery of patient services within the assigned work area by regularly monitoring patient flow.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff and training existing staff on new or revised policies and procedures.
- Assist in addressing and resolving day-to-day clinical issues.
- Serve as a role model for the clinical staff by exemplary performance, commitment to the organization, and its mission, goals, and vision.
- Attend and/or lead appropriate meetings.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Nursing Care and Procedures
- Perform nursing care within the surgical suite, pre-, intra-, and postoperatively in accordance with standards of practice.
- Perform procedures as allowed by state law, licensure, and with appropriate training and supervision.
- Administer medication.
- Quality and Safety
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
- Patient Education and Navigation
- Navigate patients through their fertility journey, including initial visit, diagnostic testing, follow-up, and treatment.
- Coordinate patient cycles and maintain patient calendars, ordering appropriate medications, scheduling blood work, and monitoring visits.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Accept and make phone calls regarding laboratory values and semen study results with appropriate explanation.
- Comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering their questions as permitted.
- Ensure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards and following physician practice and nursing division philosophies.
- Administrative and Support Functions
- Maintain patient charting, testing flow sheets, and reviews and abstracts patient records.
- Accept resource assignments and assist all staff with information of assigned areas.
- Cover weekends and holidays per rotating schedule.
- Accept on-call rotation schedule for after-hours phone support to patients.
- Professional Development
- Cooperate, interface, and work independently to assure program goals are achieved.
- Act as an active participant on teams, giving input and ideas, treating all team members with respect.
- Follow up on commitments made to the team for action items and communicate status of action items.
- Communicate clearly and openly at all times.
- Contribute to team effort by maintaining an excellent rapport and working relationship with clinical team and front desk/scheduling staff.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
- Accept constructive feedback and seek to improve performance continuously.
- RN (2-year degree program) required. B.S.N. preferred.
- Current state RN license without limitations required.
- Fertility experience strongly preferred.
- Maintain updated ACLS and BLS licenses as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with employees and the general public.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner.
- Ability to work independently to manage a caseload of patients.

The compensation range for this position is between $33.00 and $47.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, life, and vision insurance.
