Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care services tailored to the specific needs of individuals based on their age and condition.
  • Assist with morning routines, which may encompass bed baths, showers, oral hygiene, grooming, and general tidiness of the patient’s area.
  • Provide evening care, including washing hands and faces, oral hygiene, back rubs, and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Alert licensed personnel when patients express discomfort or pain.
  • Prepare patients for meals, serve and clear food trays, and assist with feeding as necessary.
  • Ensure patients have access to hydration and snacks throughout the day.
  • Respond to patient call lights, anticipate needs, and conduct regular rounds to assigned patients.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • CPR/BCLS Certification is highly preferred.
  • CNA certification is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in an acute or long-term care setting is preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
