We are seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join our team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our surgical team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Expertise: Deliver high-quality medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of surgical conditions.
- Lead Surgical Team: Supervise and mentor junior physicians and allied health professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other medical staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Stay Current with Best Practices: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Ensure Quality and Safety: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ensure a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff.
- Advanced Clinical Degree: Possess an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Postgraduate Training: Complete a residency program in General Surgery.
- Licensure and Certification: Hold a valid medical license in the State of Vermont and be board eligible or certified in General Surgery.
