Compensation: Starting at $40,000 based on experience.

Position Overview - Located in Ste. Genevieve, MO:

This role provides essential support to the purchasing department by reviewing requisitions, orders, and invoices to ensure accuracy, terminology, and specifications.

  • Evaluate all purchase requisitions for correctness of terminology and specifications.
  • Address inquiries from requisitioners and suppliers regarding order status.
  • Convert requisitions into Purchase Orders following necessary approvals.
  • Maintain all vendor files, including updating vendor information and contract pricing in the vendor item pack system.
  • Oversee all Capital Project Files.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
  • Update maintenance contractor purchase orders for invoicing on progress payments.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of general clerical experience and three years in purchasing-related functions.
  • Understanding of purchase-to-pay process compliance and accounting reconciliation.
  • Proficient in computer usage with high accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
