Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Bothell, WA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and apparatus for the generation, transmission, and control of electric power.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical equipment, components, circuits, or systems
  • Apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to designs
  • Perform extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability, performance, and safety standards are achieved
  • Conduct research and studies new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree and 5-7 years experience
  • Discipline/Major: Electrical Engineering or other Engineering degree required
  • OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry

Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Software.
Other Requirements:
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
  • Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
  • May need to stand for long periods of time.
  • Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
  • This position is Safety Sensitive.
Travel Requirements:
  • Less than 25% travel likely.
