Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer I to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer I, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical components, equipment, and systems. You will work closely with our engineering team, customers, and other stakeholders to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confer with engineering team, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products
  • Balance a variety of tasks related to requirements gathering, circuit simulations, prototyping, testing, trouble-shooting, and software maintenance
  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical components, equipment, products, machinery, and/or systems
  • Selects and/or designs and helps to assemble test control apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures, and conditions for electrical/electronic testing of designs and products
  • Coordinate manufacturing, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and requirements
  • Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Prior internship or co-op experience preferred
  • Some experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings a plus
  • Travel up to 10% may be required
