Project Controls Engineer - MEP

NexGen Contracting is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Engineer - MEP to join their team in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the project management team in developing the project cost work breakdown structure and job cost setup.
  • Develop project invoice schedules of values.
  • Manage the project cost earned vs actual value cost tracker.
  • Manage vendor invoices.
  • Prepare project change requests and customer change orders.
  • Trend project costs and report deviations from plan.
  • Prepare projects for close-out, including review of commitment against actual cost.
  • Prepare monthly project financial reports.
  • Manage level 3 schedules (MS Project, Primavera experience preferred).
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in accounting and a BS in business or engineering, or 7 years of experience in accounting.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, software, and email.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be physically present in the Lexington office.
