About Play is committed to delivering quality care that makes a positive impact on the lives of others. We are looking for an Early Interventionist to serve in various areas and counties in South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide early intervention services to children birth to six years old with developmental delays or disabilities.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children birth to six years old, preferably in early intervention or teaching.
  • Prior early interventionist experience is preferred, but recent graduates with a related degree and willingness for on-the-job training are also considered.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 per year, plus travel mileage reimbursement at 0.45 per mile up to a monthly cap of $565. This can result in a total annual compensation of up to $46,780. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) retirement plans.

Location and Schedule:

The successful candidate must reside in York County or surrounding areas in South Carolina. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional travel required (50-75%). A driver's license and reliable car are necessary for this role.

  • CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child)
