Position Summary:
As a Sanitation Worker, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the highest standards of Food Safety and Product Quality through the thorough cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment, utensils, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in line with the company's Master Sanitation Program.
- Employing appropriate chemicals and cleaning agents to sanitize processing area walls, floors, and equipment.
- Utilizing sanitation tools safely and effectively.
- Removing debris from processing areas.
- Communicating chemical supply levels to management.
- Monitoring and documenting facility conditions to comply with company and regulatory standards.
- Verifying the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation efforts and completing necessary documentation.
- Recording actions taken in response to any unsatisfactory observations regarding equipment and processing areas.
- Conducting tests as required.
- Maintaining a safe working environment.
- Properly using and maintaining equipment.
- Working independently with minimal supervision.
- Providing support for additional duties as needed.
- Becoming certified in operating electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Performing other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
Required:
- No prior experience necessary.
Preferred:
- Experience with sanitation tools, chemicals, food safety practices, and safe operation of forklifts and powered pallet jacks.
Compensation:
The starting pay is $20.00, depending on experience.
