Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Mozaic Senior Life. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic nursing care and assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Observe residents for any changes in their condition and report changes promptly to the charge nurse.
  • Document care and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow standard precautions while delivering care and maintain a clean and organized resident area.
  • Participate in the care plan process and follow the resident's individual plan of care.
  • Respond to resident needs promptly and maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues.
  • Contribute to positive resident and family relationships.
  • Follow facility policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Participate in educational and in-service meetings to update knowledge of techniques, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Successfully complete Clinical Competencies for Certified Nursing Assistants.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months - 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Long-Term Care environment preferred
  • C.N.A Certification
  • Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile residents
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively
  • Ability to utilize various software packages to carry out position responsibilities
