Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a dedicated Land Survey Specialist to contribute to our expanding operations. The primary responsibility of the Land Survey Specialist will involve collaborating on various projects, both large and small, while preparing site or building information models and CAD outputs. Projects will encompass commercial, retail, and residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather field data utilizing advanced surveying tools and software.
  • Analyze reports, maps, engineering plans, and aerial imagery to determine project requirements and inform project strategies.
  • Assist in the recovery of survey control points, construction layout, and documentation of the project area.
  • Propose innovative methods and strategies to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma; a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying is advantageous.
  • Experience in topographic, boundary, utility surveys, and construction layout is preferred; GPS knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficient in CAD software and general computer applications (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent analytical, judgment, and communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites as necessary.
  • A valid driver’s license in good standing is required.
