Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with our medical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the physician during surgery, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
  • Perform technical and patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse, demonstrating a strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
  • Function as a clinical specialist across multiple service lines, providing expertise and support to our medical team.
  • Assume additional responsibilities for maintaining surgical specialties, serving as a resource and contributing to the development of our surgical department.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program.
  • Surgical Tech Certification and 3 years of experience required. In lieu of Surgical Tech certification, 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years Surgical Tech experience.
  • Neuro, Spine, Robotics, Ortho, Gen/Gyn, Urology, and Vascular experience preferred.
  • Current GA LPN License if applicable.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required or Licensed as an LPN required. BLS certification required.
