• Awareness of PCI Data Security Standards.


• Insight into standards and best practices concerning information security and data confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:


• Support the monitoring of Cisco Firepower Threat Defense IPS.


• Contribute to the formulation of standards, policies, and procedures related to information security.


• Regularly analyze network and security system logs to detect anomalies and potential threats, responding appropriately.


• Collaborate closely with the network team to review and audit firewall configurations.


• Assist in information security incident response alongside relevant technology personnel.


• Maintain secure configuration documentation and conduct routine audits to ensure compliance.


• Execute risk analysis and compliance testing.


• Provide recommendations for system hardening and assist technical teams with testing and strategic planning.


• Participate in vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.


• Work in partnership with vendors and contractors, ensuring that technical systems and services adhere to established security standards and specifications.


• Review project scopes for alignment with established administrative, technical, and operational standards.


• Develop policies, standards, and standard operating procedures related to cybersecurity best practices, operational procedures, audits, and compliance.

Acceptable Experience and Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline. A minimum of three years of progressive experience in the information security field, particularly with Cisco IPS solutions. A combination of relevant experience and technical certifications may be considered as a substitute for educational qualifications. Current certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, CEH, and experience managing PCI compliant environments are highly regarded.
