Job Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking experienced Project Engineers to join our Fleet Services Group. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing, planning, and executing shipboard installation, troubleshooting, and repair initiatives aboard U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and Military Sealift Command vessels.
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution and onsite management related to shipboard repair and installation initiatives.
  • Assist Senior Management, Program Managers, and Project Leads with Surface and Submarine Alterations, Repair, or Fleet Modernization projects.
  • Ensure that projects progress according to schedule and adhere to contract specifications.
  • Engage with clients and customers regarding task assignments.
  • Perform tasks outside of specialty as needed to complete work assignments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Engineering program.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
  • Capability to secure base access and necessary security credentials.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment and materials, with a minimum weight requirement of 30 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in various environments, including climbing ladders, extreme temperatures, aboard ships, in shipyards, and confined spaces.
  • Travel may be required both domestically and internationally.

Additional Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capability to manage and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Desire to identify, research, and solve complex problems beyond current capabilities.
