Job Title: Operational Excellence Manager, Product and Supplier Partnerships

The Operational Excellence Manager, Product and Supplier Partnerships, plays a critical role in Refreshment Services, contributing to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and growth goals. This position enables and supports positive client experiences by focusing on strong vendor management skills and detailed product data analysis.

This role will interact with all levels of the organization and support center-led strategies with decentralized execution across North America Operations. The Operational Excellence Manager, Products and Supplier Partnerships, will report to the Director, Operational Excellence - Business Process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts detailed analyses to optimize supply chain programs, maximizing efficiency and profitability.
  • Investigates problems, finds root causes, develops solutions, and executes plans related to product and supply chain initiatives.
  • Provides analytical support for projects related to process improvements and enhancements, as well as new business opportunities and proposals.
  • Identifies incentive and SKU compliance opportunities, partners with field leadership, marketing, suppliers, and/or Aramark Supply Chain to implement.
  • Responsible for developing timely and concise field communications regarding discontinued products, out-of-stock issues, operating guidelines, packaging changes, price changes, cost opportunities, and other changes requiring operational awareness or action.
  • Develops and maintains expert business knowledge of applications, processes, and data management requirements supporting product distribution and sale.
  • Partners closely with Aramark Global Supply Chain and supplier partners to resolve issues, identify efficiencies, and optimize product profitability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, operations management, economics, engineering, or related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a supply chain function, order management, or operations role with experience in data gathering using ERP and data warehouse management tools.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and logical manner.
  • Proven success in evaluating complex, multi-factor problems and data sets, identifying solution(s), and providing recommendation(s) to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop business cases and financial models. Ability to understand financial analysis and implications related to contracts and suppliers.
  • Intermediate MS Excel with Microsoft Office skills strongly preferred.
  • Passion and commitment to customer service.
