Job Summary:

  • Oversee facility, utility, and tooling projects to ensure seamless operations.
  • Coordinate tooling repairs and improvements to maintain efficiency.
  • Optimize BFS equipment and packaging lines to enhance productivity.
  • Develop and manage a Preventative Maintenance program to minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical support for customer follow-up and troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in CAPEX activities to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project pipelines in line with Quality Systems and customer requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Provide technical support to Manufacturing, QA, Purchasing, and CommOps teams, including validations and calibrations.
  • Develop project plans, manage milestones, and ensure timely completion to meet business objectives.
  • Support production trials and prepare documentation to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to drive business excellence.
  • Interact professionally with all levels of associates to foster a positive work environment.
  • Observe safety and security procedures, report unsafe conditions, and use equipment properly to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Control and minimize environmental impacts, including chemical handling safety, to ensure a sustainable future.
  • Perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, crouching, using tools, and lifting up to 15 pounds (occasionally up to 100 pounds) to meet job requirements.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned to support business needs.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree with 4-7 years of combined experience in manufacturing, plant/operation, or technical roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge in plastic, medical device, or pharmaceutical processing to drive business growth.
  • Understanding of cGMP and FDA requirements for manufacturing to ensure compliance.
  • Experience with aseptic filling of pharmaceutical products (Blow-Fill-Seal) is a plus to enhance skills.
  • Knowledge of automation is a plus to drive business excellence.
