Facilities Planner

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a skilled Facilities Planner to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance operations team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling resources and materials to ensure the effective and efficient completion of calibrations, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule resources and materials for maintenance activities
• Review and approve/disapprove incoming work requests
• Develop and report work backlog reports
• Develop detailed work scopes and forecasts for resource allocation
• Oversee work order activity compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage work through the Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Review Field Service reports to identify follow-up work requirements
• Optimize Calibration/Preventive Maintenance Plans
• Improve productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays
• Accurate coordination among laboratory/manufacturing operations, field service engineers, and suppliers
• Plan, execute, and provide purchase requisitions and purchase orders to suppliers
• Initiate Incident Notifications for Out of Tolerance calibrations
• Create Equipment Records in the CMMS for new equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical)
• 2-year college technical school or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Experience in laboratory/manufacturing maintenance environment preferred
