Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Summary:
The Computed Tomography Technologist is a vital member of the WakeMed team, responsible for operating computerized Tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accomplish patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner.
- Operate computerized Tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts.
- Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Radiologic Technology or Computerized Tomography required.
- Registered Technologist for Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Sonography, and Computed Tomography required.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
