Job Overview:
Utilize your skills to enhance the mission and refine our operational strategy as a Property Management Technician at General Dynamics Information Technology. In this role, you will assist in addressing significant challenges faced by our clients and contribute to the growth of the organization.

Impact of the Role:
As a Property Management Technician, you will oversee government property and assets in alignment with contract stipulations, approved protocols, and federal regulations.

Assist in fulfilling customer logistics needs through the assessment, organization, planning, and management of various aspects of daily provisioning, spare parts, maintenance, and repair operations.

Conduct clerical and manual tasks to maintain an inventory of materials, components, supplies, and equipment.
Receive, barcode, inventory, and manage assigned equipment.
Update tracking and management databases with asset details.
Transport equipment between facilities using appropriate tools.
Maintain stock levels of consumables and complete reorders as necessary.
Support customer logistics needs through thorough analysis and organization of daily provisioning and maintenance activities.

Conduct distribution and network analyses, monitor inventory, and evaluate requirements to develop strategies for achieving optimal delivery timelines.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Be a hands-on logistics analyst and technician, collaborating with a team of logistics professionals dedicated to supporting the client's mission.

Be prepared for dynamic workdays, a fast-paced environment, and a variety of skills utilized throughout the week.

Execute a comprehensive range of duties related to shipping and receiving, inter-plant transfers, barcode assignments, and database upkeep.

Account for an annual inventory of numerous accountable items, collaborating with security and logistics managers for appropriate disposition.

Assist other departments in identifying and fulfilling their logistics needs.

Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple logistics tasks through established and evolving policies are essential.

Must be capable of lifting, carrying, and loading equipment/material weighing up to 50 pounds for transport.

Regularly required to stand, walk, and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Must be able to access IT equipment around office furniture as part of the annual inventory process.

Perform both manual labor associated with palletizing and de-palletizing equipment, along with proficient skills in office applications.

Participate in special projects as needed.

The expected hourly rate for this position is approximately $30.42. However, this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Salary will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and potentially contractual requirements, and may fall outside this range.
