Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team at TAG Refrigeration. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems, as well as performing preventative maintenance and repairs for HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair multiple types of refrigeration systems, including self-contained coolers and freezers, single and rack systems, and other mechanical and electrical components.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment, including walk-in drain lines, case drain lines, cooling towers, and water-cooled condensers.
  • Inspect plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems to identify specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate directly with grocery store managers and store directors to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Quote equipment repairs and recommend replacement when necessary.
  • Maintain proper van stock, tools, and safety equipment on work vans.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of prior HVAC/R experience.
  • Ability to pass a physical/drug screen/background investigation/driving abstract as needed.
  • Universal EPA License and Electrical License are a plus.
  • 2-3 years of grocery refrigeration/HVAC experience and related education/certification in the HVAC and refrigeration industry are highly desirable.
