Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. You will work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and partner with our customers to provide exceptional service solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to install, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
  • Partner with customers to provide service solutions for their cooking equipment, including gas, electric, and steam equipment.
  • Consult with the parts department to obtain parts and install them in customer equipment.
  • Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call duties.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Two years of previous or related experience, education, or military experience preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including electronics, steam, gas, and refrigeration.
  • Refrigeration technicians must be EPA certified.
  • CFESA Certification a plus.
  • Must be highly safety conscious.
  • Excellent organizational skills, motivated, self-starter, and able to follow through on duties and assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying (up to 75 pounds).
  • Requires frequent walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and turning for most of the workday.
  • Must be able to use hands for fine manipulation of hand tools.
