Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission BMS control systems, including wiring, programming, and calibrating essential components.
- Integrate BMS with various building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and security to ensure seamless operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to BMS controls, providing timely support to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on BMS systems to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Develop and adjust control programs tailored to specific project needs, including user interface configuration and alarm setup.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical assistance, including training for facility staff.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations during fieldwork to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electronics, HVAC, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with BMS or building automation systems.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and networking principles.
- Familiarity with BMS platforms such as Tridium, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Honeywell.
- Experience with programming languages relevant to BMS, including BACnet, Modbus, or LON.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
