Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Core-Mark. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food and food-related products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards.
  • Inspect trailers for properly loaded and secured freight, and perform count checks of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded.
  • Deliver products to customers according to predetermined route delivery schedules, and unload products from the trailer, transporting items into designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures, and collect money (cash or checks) where required.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear and clean as required.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
