Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Core-Mark. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food and beverage products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on local routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and perform damage control checks on items.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required and ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
