Job Description

">

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Haven Behavioral Healthcare, you will be responsible for assessing patients for risk of danger to self or others, intervening in behavioral crisis situations, and participating in the implementation of individualized care plans.

">

You will provide patient education and facilitate educational/activity groups, recommending alternative activities based on patient functioning level and treatment plan. Additionally, you will supervise Behavioral Health Technicians and assume the role of Charge Nurse when assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you should have a nursing degree and at least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with one year of acute psychiatric experience preferred.

">

You should be passionate about providing exceptional care and compassion to underserved populations, able to see beyond patients' diagnoses and connect with them as individuals.
