Job Description

Job Summary

This role involves assisting physicians in providing direct patient care, including health teaching tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality care through excellent customer service and collaboration with the medical team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist physicians in providing direct patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing routine tasks.
  2. Develop and implement effective patient care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
  3. Provide administrative support, including ordering supplies, managing records, and scheduling appointments.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in direct patient care preferred.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant from a recognized institution (e.g., AAMA) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
