As a member of our patient care team, you will assist the nursing staff in providing delegated patient care services and maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including meals, bathing, oral care, grooming, and elimination.
Obtain and record patient information, including vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, calorie counts, and other patient information within your competency.
Assist with patient mobility, including positioning, repositioning, dangling, and ambulating patients using walkers, crutches, canes, and wheelchairs.
Obtain specimens and cross-train to unit clerk.
Engage in evidence-based best practices that enhance the patient experience, including hourly/safety rounding and use of AIDET- Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank you.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
Basic Life Support obtained within 30 days of start date.
Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Tech preferred.
