About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Sales Lead to join our team at Aramark. As a Retail Sales Lead, you will play a critical role in coordinating store operations, supporting and training our sales team, and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Store Operations: Assign tasks to sales associates and general utility workers, ensuring that all preparations are completed in advance for the day ahead and that the team is on task for delivering superior guest service.
  • Train and Develop Sales Team: Train sales associates and general utility workers in their roles, helping to develop a team of customer service-focused professionals.
  • Lead by Example: Serve as an example for the sales team and general utility workers to aspire to, continually going above and beyond to deliver outstanding customer service and successfully resolving any guest situations that may arise.
  • Manage Inventory and Merchandise: Keep an inventory of stock, noting any out-of-stock items or possible shortages, and order merchandise and other items in appropriate quantities from warehouse and vendors to meet demand.
  • Ensure Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and pleasant atmosphere in the store, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Manage Cash and Sales Data: Collect and compile daily cash and sales data from all outlets using Microsoft Excel and various Point of Sale and Property Management System software programs.
  • Lead Nightly Close Out and Balance Cash: Lead all aspects of nightly close out and balance cash with daily sales at the end of the shift.
Requirements
  • Previous Retail Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred.
  • Mathematical Skills: Mathematical skills are required to facilitate sales reports and audits.
  • Language Skills: Must be fluent in the native language, both spoken and written.
  • Computer Literacy: Must be computer literate in MS Office programs.
  • Physical Demands: This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
