- Organize patient charts in advance by collecting and uploading all relevant test results, imaging, and reports.
- Prepare patients for procedures by monitoring vital signs, conducting blood glucose tests, and performing other screenings as directed by the physician.
- Adhere to medical record standards by documenting allergies, medication lists, and ensuring comprehensive patient medical histories.
- Assist in setting up sterile environments for procedures.
- Exhibit proficiency in clinical office practices and deliver high-quality clinical services.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery status post-procedure.
- Maintain accurate medication logs.
- Ensure efficient room turnover to optimize procedural scheduling.
- Uphold a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff by adhering to OSHA regulations regarding bloodborne pathogens.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and informational materials.
- Act as a communication bridge between patients and physicians, ensuring that patient needs are addressed promptly.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with physicians and support staff.
- Handle communications with professionalism and courtesy.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to ensure patient satisfaction during visits, accommodating diverse needs.
- Utilize Mayfield technology for daily communications and information access.
- Contribute to team objectives by performing additional duties as required.
