Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing systems, to ensure they meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with our business development team to develop technical proposals that showcase our company's expertise and capabilities.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers to help them develop their skills and knowledge, and provide guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Client Relationships: Work directly with clients to understand their needs and provide top-notch consulting services.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize tasks, and lead design team efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Registration: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
  • Experience: 10+ years of engineering work experience, including designing HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Skills: Strong interpretation skills for technical drawings, experience with load calculation software, proficiency in REVIT and CAD, and experience in developing fee and qualification-based proposals.
  • Additional Requirements: Local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) experience and relationships, active involvement in the local industry, familiarity with relevant codes, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
