Adult Outpatient Services Supervisor

Source EQ is seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead our Adult Outpatient Services program in Upper Manhattan. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established non-profit organization that provides behavioral support services to the local community.
About the Role
- Supervise and direct all activities in establishing a therapeutic environment that promotes client growth and development.
- Participate in the ongoing evaluation of clients and make recommendations for changes in treatment schedule, transfers, or referrals as needed.
- Responsible for follow-up on all assignments to subordinate staff and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Perform one-to-one counseling with treatment participants as necessary, relating all data to the Program Director.
- Assist the Program Director in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility and fulfill the role of Supervisor in their absence.
- Assist the Program Director with recruiting and interviewing new staff.
- Complete monthly reports for OASAS and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- LCSW with adult experience preferred.
- Knowledge of human behavior and psychosocial dynamics of substance abuse.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to identify and assess symptoms relating to substance abuse.
- Ability to perform under clinical and administrative pressures.
- Respects the individuality of each patient.
- Operation, planning, and supervisory skills.
