We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Verovian Nursing Agency. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced nurse to play a pivotal role in advancing neonatal care practices and providing expert guidance to the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to NICU nursing staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans tailored to the unique needs of neonates and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects aimed at improving neonatal outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards related to neonatal care services.
  • Act as a resource and mentor to NICU staff, providing guidance on complex clinical cases and promoting best practices in neonatal care.

Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required; Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in a NICU setting, with at least 3 years in a specialist or advanced practice role.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required.
  • Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC) is preferred.
