Openwork is assisting a local client in their search for a skilled Precision Machinist in Spartanburg.

As a Precision Machinist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of manufactured products. Your responsibilities will encompass setting up and operating specialized machinery, meticulously inspecting materials for defects, and selecting the appropriate tools to rectify imperfections and achieve a flawless finished product that meets stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of items exiting the assembly line.
  • Remove defective components with precision.
  • Operate grinding machinery to smooth or polish product surfaces, ensuring optimal finish and dimensional accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Precision Machinist within a machine shop environment.
Work Schedule:

9:00pm-7:00am Monday-Thursday (Double Time Pay on Friday)

Pay Rate:

$18.00-$20.00/hr depending on experience.
