Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations as authorized by the agency, focusing on:
    • Allegations of misconduct by licensed individuals and entities in real estate transactions and appraisals.
    • Reviewing the operations and trust accounts of real estate firms.
    • Verifying applications submitted to the agency.
  • Interview individuals with relevant knowledge regarding the investigation.
  • Prepare comprehensive written reports for supervisory review.
  • Provide testimony in hearings or court as necessary.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Work in a hybrid schedule, with initial training conducted in the office.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, along with strong written and verbal communication skills, is essential for conducting interviews and drafting detailed reports.
  • A valid real estate broker license in Georgia or another state is required, with the condition that it must be placed on inactive status during employment with the Commission.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a real estate broker is necessary, including experience in managing other licensees and reviewing contracts and real estate documents.
  • A solid understanding of the daily operations of real estate licensees is required.
  • Applicants must provide three reference letters demonstrating a commitment to their duties, effective communication skills, and the ability to operate within an organizational structure.

Note: Submission of three reference letters is mandatory to complete the application process.
