Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Green Bay Packaging Folding Carton Division. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Identify and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical systems, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Install and Replace Equipment: Install new electrical and mechanical equipment, and replace existing equipment as required.
  • Conduct General Building Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the overall condition of our facilities.
  • Assist with Other Duties as Assigned: Support other members of the maintenance team as needed, and participate in special projects.
Requirements
  • Good Troubleshooting and Manual Dexterity Skills: Possess strong problem-solving abilities and manual dexterity to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Strong Mechanical and Electrical Skills: Have a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, and be able to apply this knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Ability to Work at Heights: Be comfortable working at heights, and able to climb ladders and use aerial platforms safely.
  • Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills: Possess strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Have basic computer skills to access and complete maintenance records and reports.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as a Team Member: Be able to work independently, and as part of a team, to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Willingness to Work 3rd Shift and Overtime: Be willing to work 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6am) and overtime as required.
  • Willingness to Train on OEM Machinery: Be willing to learn and train on OEM machinery and equipment.
  • Proficiency in English: Possess strong English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the language effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic Math Skills: Possess basic math skills to perform calculations and measurements.
  • Mechanical Maintenance Experience: Have experience in mechanical maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • Electrical Maintenance Experience: Have experience in electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
