Position Overview

Global Parking Systems specializes in the management of parking facilities, valet services, and shuttle operations at various airports nationwide. We are partnered with SP Plus Parking Corporation, a recognized leader in the parking management industry. Our mission is to enhance the parking experience for our customers, ensuring it is both enjoyable and efficient.

Compensation: $16.38 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of shuttle interiors.
  • Ensure timely attendance at work, dressed in uniform.
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver's license at all times while on duty.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record as per DMV standards.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and direct them to the Facility Manager when necessary.
  • Report any accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Communicate any debris or hazards to the garage office promptly.
  • Provide support to Cashiers or Valets as needed, if authorized.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the garage layout and major local streets and landmarks.
  • Assist customers with luggage and travel items when applicable.
  • Support the Facility Manager with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: Less than High School education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • License Requirement: A valid state driver's license with a current address and an acceptable DMV record is mandatory.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work special shifts, including potential 3rd shifts and weekends, based on location needs.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence, as well as communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Appearance: Employees must maintain a neat and professional appearance, adhering to uniform standards.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires regular standing, walking, and handling of cash and equipment, with occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
