Job Summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of Airport Baggage Handling systems to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects on schedule and maintain or improve planned budgets.
  • Exceed customer expectations and satisfaction by developing and maintaining project parameters and reviewing all materials prior to submission.
  • Establish a project team and conduct regular project review meetings.
  • Maintain and support communication with customers and sales teams.
  • Establish a detailed project schedule, prioritize tasks, and identify lead times and critical paths.
  • Monitor internal and external teams to ensure timely and budget-friendly downstream activities.
  • Implement an effective change management system to account for project changes, document them, and ensure current invoicing.
  • Deliver regular project status updates to business stakeholders.
  • Initiate job closeout when completed.
  • Travel and overtime may be required, with frequent visits to customer sites and project sites.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite is required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Airport Baggage Handling Project Management.
  • Warehouse & Distribution experience is strongly preferred.
  • An engineering or project management degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer scheduling, preferably PRIMAVERA P6, is required.
  • Project Management software experience with ProCore is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, as this role will interact with all levels within the company and with customers.

Physical Abilities

Remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence. Capable of maneuvering through an industrial conveyor system requiring climbing access ladders, negotiating screen guards, and lifting and/or carrying objects up to 40 lbs.
