Position Summary
This role is essential for upholding the standards set by the Pastry Chef and Executive Chef in the crafting and presentation of baked delicacies, ensuring adherence to product specifications and maintaining cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
The primary duties encompass, but are not limited to:
1. Collaborating with the Sous Chef to ensure quality and portion control of baked goods.
2. Creating fresh artisan loaves, rolls, and other premium menu selections for various dining outlets.
3. Preparing items for display, which includes slicing, packaging, and labeling bakery products.
4. Guaranteeing product availability for guests throughout operational hours by maintaining attractive product displays.
5. Rotating inventory to ensure optimal freshness, documenting and managing waste daily.
6. Adhering to production schedules, monitoring the baking process to implement necessary adjustments.
7. Handling ingredients, equipment, tools, and baking pans efficiently.
8. Overseeing mixing and baking procedures to ensure quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Culinary education is advantageous.
- A minimum of three (3) to four (4) years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
