Radiology Imaging Specialist

OSF HealthCare seeks a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to perform diagnostic imaging exams and procedures under the direction of a radiologist. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging exams and procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
- Operate imaging equipment and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
Education:
Completion of a formal Radiology program with associated certificate or degree.
Licensure/Certifications:
Licensed with IEMA ARRT (RU) registered or registry eligible. Must complete ARRT registry within 6 months of hire. American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of a formal Radiology program with associate certificate or degree. Cross-trained into CT or Mammography.
