Job Title: Swim Instructor

Are you passionate about teaching water safety and swimming techniques to children? Do you have a knack for creating a fun and engaging learning environment? We're seeking a skilled Swim Instructor to join our team at Goldfish Swim School

Job Summary:

As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students of all ages and skill levels how to swim and stay safe in and around the water. You will create lesson plans, lead classes, and provide feedback to students and parents. If you're a motivated and patient individual who loves working with children, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:
  • Teach swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Create and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of each student
  • Provide feedback and encouragement to students and parents
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
  • Make rescues and administer first aid when necessary
  • Evaluate student progress and complete required paperwork
  • Interact with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and answer questions
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor, or camp counselor preferred
  • Two or more years of experience as a swimming instructor required
  • Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification required
