Role of the Culinary Prep Specialist:
As a Culinary Prep Specialist, you will play a crucial role in preparing and producing food items, garnishes, and condiments essential for our kitchen operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items and ingredients for menu offerings based on established recipes and special requests.
  • Be available to work various shifts, including weekends.
  • Safely operate all necessary kitchen tools and equipment, including knives.
  • Communicate effectively to understand and follow job requirements.
  • Manage multiple tasks calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work in a confined space with varying noise and temperature levels.
  • Lift and move items as required, including frequently lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Maintain mobility throughout the restaurant, including navigating stairs and uneven surfaces.

Essential Functions:

  • Adhere to portion control and par level standards.
  • Uphold food safety and quality standards.
  • Accurately read and interpret thermometers.
  • Report any food delays or issues to the kitchen coordinator.
  • Maintain accurate records of kitchen output.
  • Understand and implement food allergy procedures and special requests.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Comply with all workplace policies and procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
