Senior Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing multifamily projects valued at $20M and above in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of construction professionals, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and ensuring financial accountability.
  • Ensure that all construction work meets or exceeds quality standards and adheres to project specifications.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, change orders, and subcontractor agreements, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and documented accurately.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and make informed decisions under pressure.
