Soar Autism Center is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive services to children with autism and their families. As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping young children develop essential communication skills.

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate SLP to join our team of interdisciplinary professionals. In this role, you will work closely with children ages 2-6, conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals
  • Collaborating with other clinical specialists, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and BCBAs, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Providing expert guidance and support to families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their child's care
  • Maintaining accurate records of client progress, treatment plans, and communication with team members and families
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
  • A license to practice speech pathology
  • At least 3 years of experience in pediatric SLP, preferably with experience working with AAC devices
  • The ability to connect and engage with young children, as well as communicate effectively with families and interdisciplinary teams
