Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide. In this role, you will assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided to our residents. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health standards and protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cook in meal preparation and service
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Follow health standards and protocols
  • Utilize protective gear in all functions
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs to supervisor
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Specialized training in food service desirable
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • Food Handler's card required
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
