Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Care Professional to join our team at Metro Dentalcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working closely with our dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality dental services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care by greeting and welcoming patients, sustaining patient comfort, and providing education throughout treatment.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health history to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures.
  • Utilize dental software to manage patient scheduling and record keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and following OSHA & CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels and place orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification if required under the state dental practice act.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions and regular HIPAA training.
  • A Minnesota dental assisting license is required (or in process of obtaining).

Preferred Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in a dental setting.
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience.
  • Dental assisting school certification.
