Position SummaryWe are seeking a Customer Order Processing Specialist to join our operations team. This role focuses on the meticulous entry of customer orders and is primarily administrative in nature. The position involves working closely with internal systems to ensure accurate order processing and resolution of any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately processes complex customer orders from initiation to completion.
- Maintains and updates the customer management system to reflect current order statuses.
- Diagnoses and resolves any discrepancies or issues related to customer orders.
- Prepares necessary documentation for the sales fulfillment process.
- Communicates effectively with internal teams regarding order fulfillment and customer feedback.
- Identifies opportunities for enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency.
- May assist in training new team members on order processing procedures.
- Handles administrative tasks such as creating purchase orders and processing payments.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience in order processing or related fields.
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and general computer skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills to effectively resolve customer inquiries.
- Intermediate writing skills for clear and concise documentation.
- Able to assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and focus on results.
