About the Role

Consonus Pharmacy Services is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Triage team. As a Pharmacy Technician - Triage Specialist, you will play a critical role in building positive relationships with clients, triaging information, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Build a positive and professional rapport with clients through inbound communication, ensuring efficient handling of information in a timely manner.
  • Triage and Problem-Solving: Train to be an expert in pharmacy processes and various EMR software programs, helping to problem-solve and answer client questions.
  • Communication Lead: Act as the communication lead between the department and pharmacy, ensuring efficient processes and maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service to physicians, clients, and other internal/external customers.
Requirements
  • Education: High school education or equivalent required.
  • Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification with 1-year experience working in the healthcare field preferred.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of prescription and/or medical terminology required.
  • Skills: Proficient computer skills, strong written skills, strong professional oral communication skills, strong organizational and analytical skills, and ability to actively contribute to a positive team environment.
